About Us

Hi I’m Ron the voice behind Post to Post Sport. I started the first version of this sports outlet (just called Post to Post at the time) when an online radio station at the university I was in didn’t have a sports show. I wanted to combine my love for radio with my love for sport. With various different contributors the radio show lasted until February 2017, when I left university for mental health reasons (something we are very passionate about here). For a while we were in the wilderness with sporadic uploads of different podcasts.
In 2019 we got more consistent and introduced a weekly Irish football show, originally covering men’s League of Ireland, we branched out to cover the Women’s National League. Irish women’s football became our new passion with more of our focus shifting there. We also had various other podcasts revolving around the Women’s Football World Cup, Men’s Football around Europe, Irish Rugby Union, an even a regular football quiz. In November 2019 we launched this website with blog posts covering an array of sports. We took a break from podcasting in 2021 and put more focus on he blog.
Last year saw us return to our podcasts when we launched a reboot of Peil and Back covering Irish Women’s Football. Now in early 2024 we have launched magazine shows for women’s football and men’s football with more to come, and we decided to clean up our website.
Post to Post Sport is a passion project that revolves around my love for sport and is greatly helped by the contributors to our podcasts.
