Arsenals top scorer Aubameyang scored both of Arsenal’s goals in the FA Cup final against Chelsea. But you can tell it was his first time lifting a trophy for the Gunners, he struggled a lot more here than he did during the game.
If Arsenal win the Community Shield it’ll likely be a bit easier.
On Sundays we will be bringing you some oddball football stories of the week. Here’s what we’ve got for you this week:
No Club Too Small
YaYa Touré was a Manchester City legend, having made 230 appearances and scored 59 goals. He lifted 3 Premier League titles and 2 League Cups, as well as an FA Cup. Previously he has won the Champions League with Barcelona as well as two La Ligas, a Supercopa de Espana, a UEFA Super Cup, and the Club World Cup. An impressive resume.
Since leaving Man City he returned to Olympiacos, before going on to make 14 appearances for Chinese side Qindao Huanghai. Recently the former 4 time African footballer of the year trained with… League Two’s Leyton Orient.
Man City’s Twitter hasn’t forgotten…

I Will Remember You
What do you have to do to get a team to retire your number? Jude Bellingham just had to play 44 games and move on to bigger things. Bermingham City have retired the 22 jersey in his honor ahead of a move to Borussia Dortmund.
The Birmingham City FC website had a statement that read:
In such a remarkably short space of time Jude has become an iconic figure at Blues, showing what can be achieved through talent, hard work and dedication.
His caring, humble and engaging off-the-field demeanour has also made him such an impressive role model.
The 22 shirt has become synonymous with Jude, his rise to the first team aged just 16 years and 38 days and these qualities.
And as such the club have decided it would be fitting to retire this number, to remember one of our own and to inspire others.
Bellingham has become the most expensive 17-year-old in football
Finally Happy To See Red
Liverpool were in a party mood during their final home game of the season. Below is a video from Wijnaldum’s insatgram. From 12:30 James Milner talks about how it’s the first time he wanted a red ribbon on the trophy, having previously won the league with Man City. He also has a tasty comment on the red half of Manchester. Also in the video, Wijnaldum wearing Firmino’s sunglasses, and Salah with a kind of red afro.
Milner’s just saying what a lot of Liverpool fans are thinking.
Are you still here?
Liverpool fans may want to forget, but Loris Karius is still employed by the club. He recently terminated a loan spell at Besiktas, but now it seems he may be on his way out on a permanent basis, with Montpellier expressing interest.
Karius last played for Liverpool in the Champions League final in 2018, where he made two disastrous errors that lead to Real Madrid goals. Montpelier were French champions in 2012.
Ollie’s at the Wheel
With the announcement that Mbappe will be on the cover of FIFA21, there have been multiple custom covers going around. Finn Harps offered what was clearly the best.
