WNL Round-Up: 17 Goals in 3 Games

3 more games this weekend. During the week we have a Champions League tie and two FAI Cup semi-finals.

Bohemians 4-5 Treaty United

Bohs led 3-2 at halftime, but Treaty came back to win late on. First half goals from Shauna Newman, Aoife Robinson, and Sophie Watters had Bohs in front. Gillian Keenan and Aoife Horgan kept Treaty United in the game. Keenan got another before Jenna Slattery put the Limerick side ahead. A late Robinson goal looked to have secured a point for Bohs, but Chloe Connolly scored 3 minutes into injury time to seal the win for Treaty.

Shelbourne 4-0 Cork City

Shels moved top of the table having played one more game than Peamount. First half goals from Rachel Graham and Jess Gargan put them in control. Cork had their goalkeeper sent off, and Emily Whelan made it 3-0. Pearl Slattery sealed the win on the hour mark.

Wexford Youths 3-1 Galway

Wexford kept their title hopes alive with a win over Galway. After a scoreless first half, Sinead Taylor put Wexford ahead with her first goal for the side, before Aoife Thompson equalized shortly after. An Ellen Molloy double secured the win for Wexford.
